Shop Pay Express Checkout & Shop Pay InstallmentsUpdated a year ago
Shop Pay is a secure and convenient payment solution provided by Shopify, designed to streamline the checkout process for online shoppers. It allows customers to save their payment, shipping, and billing information, enabling faster and more efficient purchases online. When using Shop Pay, customers can complete their transactions with just a few clicks, as their information is auto-filled, reducing the time and effort typically required during the checkout process.
Customers can save up to five shipping addresses and up to five credit cards with Shop Pay. Their mobile phone number is used for SMS verification of your account.
Additionally, Shop Pay Installments (SPI) offer flexible payment options, enabling customers to split their purchase into manageable installments. SPI includes bi-weekly payments over four interest-free installments or monthly payments across three, six, or twelve months with interest.
- For orders greater than $50 USD and less than $1,000 USD, customers can split their purchase into four bi-weekly, interest-free installment payments. There are no additional charges, interest rates, or late fees for this option, and their credit score isn't affected.
- For orders greater than $150 USD and less than $20,000 USD, customers can split their purchase into monthly installment payments. While there are no late fees for monthly installment payments, their order is subject to interest fees. Their credit score isn't affected when they apply, but it can change if they don't make their payments on time.
Some limitations to using SPI apply:
- Customers can't pay for an order if the order includes currency in any form other than credit or debit cards, including virtual and digital currency, and gift cards.
- Customers can't pay for a Shop Pay Installments order using a Capital One card, prepaid debit cards, or prepaid credit cards.
For returns or exchanges made using Shop Pay Installments, customers should contact Southern Tide Customer Support. Our representatives will help customers process the return or exchange according to our policy, and the installment payments will be adjusted accordingly. If the refund amount is less than the remaining balance on the installment plan, the customer will need to continue making payments until the balance is settled. If the refund exceeds the remaining balance, the excess amount will be refunded to the customer's original payment method. Shop Pay ensures a secure and convenient shopping experience with flexible payment options to suit various customer needs.
